The online magazine PUNCH is hosting a new initiative called Tip Your Bartender. The weekly virtual happy hour seeks to support bartenders whose livelihoods are affected by the coronavirus crisis. On Wednesday, April 1, Columbus’ own Annie Williams Pierce, co-owner of Law Bird, will be PUNCH’s featured bartender. Show her some love by tuning into @punch_drink on Instagram Live at 5 p.m. Wednesday when Pierce will be making a Rambler Highball. Tips are accepted via Venmo.
Chef BJ Lieberman, the interim executive chef at Freedom a la Cart, has started hosting cooking classes on Instagram Live @bjlieberman. His next one, featuring burgers, takes place at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 5. Lieberman relocated to Columbus from Washington D.C., where he was head chef at Rose’s Luxury and Little Pearl, both Michelin star restaurants.

The following businesses have closed indefinitely: both locations of Arepazo, the Short North wine shop Wine on High, the food truck Fetty’s Street Food, Ranchero Kitchen on Morse Rd. and both locations of Figlio Wood Fired Pizza.
Crafted Drafts, a craft beer retail shop, has shuttered permanently because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Its two locations in Gahanna and Hilliard closed their doors on Saturday, March 21.
