Kittie’s Cakes announced it will reopen its Bexley cafe for carryout starting Saturday, April 25. The cafe will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., serving coffee and espresso beverages, cinnamon rolls, egg sandwiches, scones and other pastries.
The Daily Growler and Travis Owens, formerly of Curio, are teaming up to create classic Curio cocktails in carryout formats. The bottled beverages will be available for delivery or carryout from the Upper Arlington, Powell and German Village/Brewery District locations. The first offering, available starting Thursday, April 23, is Owens’ whiskey- and Aperol-centric Silver Dollar Pony.
The Clintonville Farmers Market reopens for the season on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to noon as a drive-through market at the Ohio History Center. Similar to the Worthington Farmers Market, customers are required to preorder from vendors online, then drive through and pick up items on Saturday. As of this writing, orders are closed for the April 25 market but will reopen early next week for the following Saturday.
After a brief hiatus, Bangkok Grocery & Restaurant re-opened this week, serving from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
Anderson Farms in Granville announced a drive-through Carolina BBQ on Saturday, May 2. Guests are invited to tour the farm by car from 5-7 p.m. Owner Jamie Anderson and his team are offering one barbecue box per person for each car, free of charge, although donations to the farm will be accepted that day.
The Bruegger’s Bagels at 530 High St. in Worthington has closed.
