The latest updates from the bar and restaurant scenes

Elevator Brewing owner Dick Stevens said the brewery and taproom, located at 165 N. Fourth St. Downtown, is for sale. The sale includes the facility, equipment and brand; the Elevator Brewery & Draught Haus restaurant on North High Street is operated as a separate business.

Harvest Bar + Kitchen will return near to its original location on Monday, June 29. The pizza shop and bar is taking over the building at 940 S. Front St. in the Brewery District, most recently occupied by Westie’s Gastropub.

Darnell Ferguson, originally the founder of SuperChef’s Breakfast & More, will open a new concept on Saturday, June 27, called Stadium at 101 Mill St. in Gahanna's Creekside development. A press release describes Stadium as "the place where people can go to experience the feel of going to any sports game" with foods like "cotton candy, popcorn and an ambience full of lights, music, games and of course sports."

On Saturday, June 27, a collection of local restaurants will participate in the national Food Industry Action movement. That day, participating restaurants will donate 5 percent of their sales to the NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund. Local participants include Fox in the Snow, Jeni’s Ice Creams, Hot Chicken Takeover, G. While Clintonville's Dough Mama Cafe & Bakery has reopened for carryout and dine-in, owner Perrie Wilkof said the restaurant has canceled plans to open a stall in the new North Market Bridge Park, citing the financial toll of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mikey’s Late Night Slice has closed its Old North location inside Ledo’s Tavern at 2608 N. High St. but has replaced Preston’s Burgers as the kitchen operator at Woodlands Backyard in Grandview. In place of the Late Night Slice store inside Ledo’s Tavern, Ledo’s Pizza Co. has opened up.

Palmas Tropical Escape, a bar and nightclub from the owners of Barroluco Argentine Comfort Food, has added Sunday brunch. The menu features quesadillas, tostadas, brunch paella, a selection of mimosas and other items.

The Wine Bistro location at 8231 N. High St., just north of Worthington, is closed and listed for sale. 

Last week, El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant opened a new location at 6549 Perimeter Dr. in Dublin. The new restaurant is the second in Dublin, and the eleventh overall in Central Ohio.
