North High Brewing will hold the grand opening of its new brewpub on Thursday, July 16. Located at 56 N. High St. in historic Dublin, the brewpub features a full menu plus cocktails and North High beers on tap. The pub is jointly operated by COhatch, which runs a co-working space onsite.
Chris Crader and Bethany Lovell, owners of Grow Restaurants, announced on social media this week that The Sycamore has been sold. The new owners haven’t been disclosed; Grow Restaurants said all employees have been moved to other restaurants within the company.
Columbus Food Adventures has relaunched an updated version of its signature Taco Truck Tour. The tour, which includes new social distancing measures, runs every Sunday evening, with options for private tours on Saturdays.
It’s been a week of openings and closings, some temporary and some long term. Watershed Kitchen & Bar announced this week that it would remain closed for the rest of 2020, with plans to reopen in 2021. The owners of Wolf’s Ridge Brewing also announced that they have paused in-person dining. Little Rock Bar announced on social media that it would be closing temporarily, as well.
Several restaurants have reopened this week, including Giuseppe’s Ritrovo and Basi Italia. [*Correction, 7/16: Giuseppe's did not reopen this week. The restaurant had already been open, and on Tuesday of this week it closed indoor dining, focusing instead carryout orders and patio dining.] The Keep Liquor Bar reopened with chef Courtney Nielsen at the helm. Nielsen was previously sous chef at The Keep; she takes over after chef Jonathan Olsen departed to head up the kitchen at newly opened The Royce.

La Scala and Vittoria Ristorante & Bar restaurants shared this week that its longtime owner William “Willi” Lalli passed away on July 12 after a battle with COVID-19.
Sexton's Pizza announced it will be adding a second location at 943 E. Johnstown Rd. in Gahanna.
Beerhead Bar & Eatery opened a location this week at 6294 E. Dublin Granville Rd. in New Albany. The Illinois-based chain is known for having 500 beers available by the bottle, plus 50 more on tap. This is the first location in Central Ohio.
