Chef Guilia will present a program on ideas for portable and make-ahead kid-friendly vegetarian foods that can be customized to individual tastes.
The program is free and open to the public and will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kent Free Library.
Those attending will learn how to involve kids in planning and preparation, and recommendations for packing and transporting foods.
Chef Guilia will provide recipes and resources and samples of plant-based foods will be available for tasting. No food preparation will be done during the program.
This program is geared toward adult patrons; however, children also may attend. Contact Youth Services at 330-673-4414 to register for this free program. Space is limited.
