Debra Irene Anderson, 60, of Barnesville, passed away at her daughter’s home, Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 22, 1958, in Barnesville, daughter of the late Larry Detling and Carol Ann Britton Detling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry "Bo" Detling.
Forever and always, Debbie’s memory will live on in those who survive her; daughter, Danielle (Jeremiah) Holskey of Barnesville; sons, Chris (Shanna) Anderson of Barnesville, Quentin (Jennifer) Castello of Somerton; grandchildren, Hobie Howiler, Rilee Lucas, Austin, Drew, and Jordyn Holskey, Kalin Campbell, Logan and Dustin Anderson, and Kolton Castello; sisters, Dana (Dennis) Welch of Barnesville, Dyann (Richard) Kinney of Jerusalem, and Crystal (William) Scatterday of Nevada.
Debbie was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary and Barnesville American Legion Post 168. She enjoyed Barnesville Wrestling, Jambo in the Hills, snowmobiling, and traveling. She was an Ohio State fan, Denver Broncos fan, and enjoyed watching #7, John Elway, when he was the Broncos’ quarterback. Because of her smile and infectious laugh, she made life more beautiful.
Services will be conducted at a later date at the convenience of her family. Calling hours were Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at the Patron Funeral Homes and Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main St., Barnesville.
