Book Sale!

The first Friends of the Library book sale of the year will take place Friday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Main Library on Steubenville Ave. As always, there will be a bake sale, too. There is a great selection of Fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. Cost is by donation.

Celebrity Servers

Patty’s Place, in Caldwell, will host a ‘Waiter Night’ for Hospice of Guernsey on Thursday, March 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. Patty’s staff and Hospice volunteers will be working together to serve you, with the tips during those two hours going to Hospice of Guernsey. Funds raised will help with patient care and bereavement services.

Hospice of Guernsey, a non-profit organization, provides care to terminally ill people in Guernsey, Noble and western Belmont counties. For more information, about the event or Hospice services, call 740-432-7440. Patty’s Place is located at 46855 Marietta Rd., Caldwell.

Home, Garden & Business Expo

The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce Home, Garden and Business Expo will take place March 13 through March 15, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center.  Admission is $3 per person ($2 seniors), $7 family of 3 or more.

The Cross and Country

Pastor Kirk Gable will be joined by his brother Robb, nephew Eli Robert Gable and former bandmate Kirby Graham to present an evening of Christian Country favorites on March 15, at 6 p.m., at Southern Hills Baptist Fellowship. The church is located at 127 W 8th St.
