1) Your thoughts on the cancellation of spring sports.

It’s sad to know that I will never play softball as a Hornet ever again and to know that I never got another chance to play with my teammates or another chance at a long tournament run. However, I understand it is what is best for us and that they only did it to keep us safe.

2) What are you going to miss most about your cancelled season?

I am going to miss my teammates the most. They have made my high-school softball experience all I’ve wanted and more, and to finally say goodbye to playing softball with them makes me sad.

3) What are you doing to help fight the spread of COVID-19?

My family has been staying at home as much as possible. Obviously we have to go to the store and stuff, but we make sure to keep it limited.

4) What are you missing the most due to the quarantine?

I miss going to church and I miss seeing my friends. Having church online just isn’t the same as it is in person and face timing friends just isn’t as fun as hanging out with them.

5) What are your future plans?

I am planning on attending Walsh University in the fall to major in biology. I want to become a dentist one day.

6) What is your favorite high-school memory?

It’s hard to choose just one favorite memory out of all four years, but if I had to choose it would be going to regionals in softball my sophomore year. Playing at Firestone Stadium in front of a bunch of people from my hometown was such a great feeling.

7) What is your favorite movie?

Moana for sure. I watch it a lot with my niece. I love Disney movies and the songs in Moana are great.

8) What is your favorite binge-worthy show?

I love Grey’s Anatomy. There is always something crazy going on and there are a lot of seasons to watch.

9) What is your favorite food?

Chicken Alfredo without a doubt. I love pasta so much. My friends joke with me every time we go to an Italian restaurant because they already know what I am going to order,

10) Who is your favorite musical artist?

I love country music, and if I had to pick a favorite I would choose Florida Georgia Line. They always make good songs and I don’t think they’ve ever made a song I haven’t liked.

11) Who is your favorite teacher?

Mrs. Lenhart is hands down my favorite teacher of all time. Her and I get along so well. She is like a best friend to me and she has always been someone I can go to for help, no matter the situation. I can’t imagine what my high-school experience would have been like without her. I’m really gonna miss not seeing her every day.
