Columbus police have arrested one of two men wanted on murder warrants in connection with the shooting death of a man at Sunbury Market on the Northeast Side on Labor Day.

Adonis Walker, 22, of the Northeast Side, was arrested on Tuesday, police said.

Walker and Tylan Sims, 22, of the Northeast Side, are accused in court documents of murder in the shooting 20-year-old Dezujwuan Pyfrom around 3 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Pyfrom was parking a truck in the lot outside the convenience store at 1485 Sunbury Road when two men opened fire before fleeing. One of the men was believed to have been driving a black Dodge Charger, court records state.

Police are searching for Sims.
