People who complain about socialism need to see just how much socialism we have in the U.S — public utilities, internet service, healthcare facilities, mass transit, schools, police, libraries, military, unemployment, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, cooperatives, public land development, infrastructure, just to name a few.
Those rioters and ones destroying our cities should have watched the History Channel on Friday and seen the unity, the love and the devotion that was shown to each other on Sept. 11, 2001. It was unbelievable. That’s the way it should be now.
The lights at Exit 83 in Dover are so screwed up it’s pathetic.
In response to the uninformed 30 Seconds comment in Friday’s paper, there is no government funding of elective abortions to any Planned Parenthood office or any other health service. There is some Medicaid reimbursement to healthcare providers for abortions when the life of the mother is in danger or in cases of rape or incest. As for adoptions, the state of Ohio already provides huge funding for most situations other than step-parent adoptions.
I understand the person who stole my Trump sign out of my yard wanted it for their yard. God bless them.
The county and the state sure have given us a bumper crop of weed seeds along the roads this year.
