Head coach: Kyle Holler (second season, 4-5)

Assistant coaches: Kaleb Dohse, Logan Martin

Returning letterwinners: (5) Mason Amodio, Michael Colman, Joe McLay, Jaidyn Sapp, Joe Percy, Spencer Mesaros

Letterwinners lost: (1) Kale Dohse

Outlook: Southeast lost only one wrestler to graduation, but that was state qualifier Kaleb Dohse, who joins the Pirates coaching staff this winter. Holler noted he has "a core group of returning letterwinners [that] are working hard and have high goals for this season."

However, depth will be a major issue this winter again for Southeast.

"Numbers are still low for the Pirates," Holler said.

Given this, Holler expects Southeast to be a better tournament team this winter.

Lightweights (106-132 pounds): Anchoring the Pirates will be sophomore 106-pounder Mason Amodio, a district qualifier from last season. Also back is junior 120-pounder Michael Coleman.

Holler calls his lightweights "tough, scrappy kids with experience"

Middleweights (138-160 pounds): Senior 152-pounder Joe McLay is the lone returning starter among a very young group of wrestlers.

Upperweights (170-285 pounds): Holler said the big boys for the Pirates will be "thin in numbers, but quality wrestlers developing greatly."

Returning starters in the upperweights include sophomore 170-pounder Jaidyn Sapp, junior 182-pounderJoe Percy and sophomore 195-pounder Spencer Mesaros.
