Daily Distraction: Tour the ruins of Cooper Stadium

Since Cooper Stadium closed in 2008, redevelopment rumors have abounded. For a time, the West Side stadium, which opened in 1931 and served as the longtime home of the Columbus Clippers, was discussed as the potential site of an auto racing facility, though even those conversations have gone quiet as of late. The most recent update to the stadium's Wikipedia page notes that "as of May 2019 the former stadium site sits half demolished and abandoned."
