Film preview: "I'm Not Patrick"

Jesse Tigges, Columbus Alive

Local independent book publisher Two Dollar Radio moved into film production last year and will hold a Columbus screening of its first feature, "I'm Not Patrick." The micro-budget film follows teenager Seth (Lachlan Sinclair Lipscomb) after his twin brother Patrick has committed suicide. Seth merely wants to get back to "a normal life" in the wake of this tragedy, but the community isn't so quick to let him as they act as a constant reminder of his brother. Bridging contemplations on identity with witty digressions, the dark comedy is an approachable, offbeat tale.
