Date night: Romantic takeout
Hate to break it to you, but if you haven't made restaurant reservations for Valentine's Day yet, you're probably out of luck. The city's most romantic spots fill up quickly. Make it up to your date by picking up some takeout food and having a cozy dinner at home.
Mama Mimi's makes heart-shaped take-and-bake pizzas every year around Valentine's Day. Order your sweetheart's favorite combination of toppings, sauces and cheeses on either a traditional or honey-wheat crust, then finish it up in your own oven in about 10 minutes. Heart-shaped pies are available Feb. 12-18.

Breakfast in bed
A classic romantic gesture, and one that's even more fun in the evening instead of the morning. Katalina's Cafe Corner makes some of the best breakfast dishes in town, and their newly extended hours mean you can stop in and pick up food until 9 p.m. on weekdays. Mexican French Toast, made with Mexican chocolate and dash of cinnamon, is a spicy, sexy pick.
