A new Vietnamese dining option has opened at 1623 Morse Road in Northland. Pho Le Vietnamese Cuisine offers traditional fare such as pho, bun bo hue, banh xeo and banh mi. The new business joins a stretch of Morse Road that boasts several interesting international restaurants, including Afra Grill, Couscous House and Namaste Indo-Nepali-Cuisine, as well as Saraga International Grocery. Since opening its doors in October, North Market Bridge Park has been slowly ramping up, and beginning Monday, April 5, the new market will be open seven days a week. The Dublin market has 13 merchants currently open, and a produce/butcher merchant is expected to be announced soon. The previously announced merchant filling that niche, The Dublin Farmer’s Daughter from Copia Farm, decided to drop out after the pandemic began.
The Heath brewery Homestead Beer Co. recently opened a Delaware outpost called Homestead Beer Co. Public House at 59 Potter St., aka the Food Truck Depot. The new brewery, which features a beer garden and sand volleyball pit, is currently serving a limited draft menu of Homestead beers such as Tenpenny Amber and Sun-Kissed American Wheat. Eventually, beers will be brewed on-site.
Talita's Burritos & Coneys has taken over the Downtown restaurant space at 30 S. Young St., which many will remember as The Hungry Soul Café. Its most recent occupant, Buckeye Chili & & Smokehouse, closed last May amid the pandemic. The new Talita's location, offering smothered burritos, enchiladas and all-beef hot dogs, is an expansion of the longtime Central Ohio restaurant.
Cluck Norris Ass-Kickin’ Chicken, a new concept from the owners of Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern, is now available in cloud kitchen form. The delivery-only restaurant, focused on hand-battered chicken fingers and chicken sandwiches, is currently operating out of Rusty Bucket kitchens in Clintonville, Easton, Hilliard and Westerville. Cluck Norris will also be a featured vendor at Budd Dairy Food Hall when it opens next week.
White Castle wanted us to tell you that it released a slider-inspired bath collection today, but we’re not going to do that because enough with brands and their April Fools’ Day shenanigans.
