Food News: Henmick Farm & Brewery opens in Delaware, J’s Sweet Treats joins Polaris

Central Ohio’s newest brewery, Henmick Farm & Brewery, holds its grand opening this weekend, from Friday, July 16, to Sunday, July 18. Located at 4380 N. Old State Road in Delaware, the brewery and taproom sit on a farm that’s been in the Sheets family for over a century. The brewery itself features about 10 house beers on tap, including wheat ales, IPAs, pale ales and sours. Henmick also serves house cocktails and wine, and invites local food trucks to park on site.
Juana Williams’ J’s Sweet Treats opens its second location on Friday, July 16. Williams’ business has grown from a cottage bakery to a location on Parsons Avenue, and now this second one at Polaris Fashion Place.
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants announced its newest concept, Valentina, a restaurant inspired by a fifth-generation Italian family winery. The eatery is set to open at 4595 Bridge Park Ave. in Dublin sometime in the spring of 2022.
Pattycake Bakery has closed its original Clintonville location in anticipation of its move just up the street to the old Flowers & Bread spot, 3870 N. High St. A reopening date has not been announced yet.
Fay’s Crepes, which recently closed its original Polaris Fashion Place location, is close to opening its new Easton store at 3951 Easton Square Place. Fay’s also has a location coming soon to the yet-to-open Bubbly Hall food court in New Albany.
Bibibop opens its newest store at 1775 Hilliard-Rome Road in Hilliard on Friday, July 22. This is the fast-casual restaurant's 14th location in Central Ohio.
Pelino’s Pasta has set Thursday, Aug. 5, as the opening date for its brick and mortar restaurant at 245 King Ave. in Victorian Village. The pasta-centric eatery has been operating as a series of pop-ups over the past year.
