Why: This lass can whisper, howl and honeysuckle swoon. (more info)

The Maine

Openers: Lydia, The Arkells

When: 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3

Where: Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St., Campus

Why: Because you dig the late 90s alt-pop stylings of Fuel and The Verve Pipe, but with a modern twist.
