DJ mayhem today in Columbus (featuring Skrillex!)

Columbus Alive

What a huge day for local fans of electronic music in Columbus! (Especially if you have a BuckID.)

First, Skrillex (along with Pittsburgh rap sensation Mac Miller) is set to rock the South Oval as part of Ohio Union Activities Board's Big Free Concert. That starts at 6 p.m. You need a BuckID to get in, but if you don't have one I bet you can figure something out. You'll want to, considering how incredible his last performance in Columbus was.

Then, The Bluestone's doors open at 9 p.m. for Red Bull's Thre3style contest, which promises to be a sick display of DJ prowess. I'll be guest judging along with Big Once and Stone Rokk to decide who represents Ohio at this summer's Thre3style national finals in Orlando. Cleveland party-rocker extraordinaire DJ E-V hosts. Should be tremendous. $10 admission or free with your BuckID. They're even running free shuttles to The Bluestone from the South Oval; how convenient! And who knows, maybe Mr. Sonny Moore himself will even stop by. (Pure speculation there.)

See you guys tonight!
