The following is your latest Columbus concert info blast. Get your credit cards ready; it's a hefty one.

Chart-topping Australian singer Gotye, who has lots of other songs besides the awesome-if-annoyingly-omnipresent "Somebody That I Used to Know," will headline LC Pavilion on Sept. 17. Tickets cost $35 advance and $38 day of show, and they go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday.

Indie rock greats The Walkmen, who just released their "settling into adulthood gracefully" album "Heaven," will headline Newport Music Hall on Sept. 29. Tickets cost $15 advance, $17 day of, and they go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.

Drive slow to Alrosa Villa on August 17 to see immaculately-grilled Houston rapper Paul Wall. Tickets are on sale now for $20.

Roots rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd will play the gorgeous new Downtown park Columbus Commons on July 15. Tickets cost $53.50 or $33.50 depending on whether you want to be close enough for the band to hear you yell "Free Bird"!

Folk icons Indigo Girls will play LC Pavilion on July 22. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $29 advance, $32 day of.

Pop-rockers The Temper Trap are coming to the Newport on August 2. Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, you can purchase the right to be there for $20 advance, $22 day of.

A pretty intense nostalgia triple bill of Journey, Pat Benatar and Loverboy hits Nationwide Arena on Nov. 7. There's a whopping price range: $122, $76.50, $56.50 or $36.50. They go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., as does another nostalgia trip: Tesla headlining the LC on August 16 for the price of $25 advance, $27 day of.

Refined shoegaze favorites The Raveonettes will play A&R Music Bar on Sept. 29 (same night as that Walkmen show, worth noting since the bands probably have a pretty large overlapping Venn diagram). Tickets cost $15 advance, $17 day of, and they go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Also on sale Friday at 10: Comedian Mike Birbiglia will play the Capitol Theatre for $34.

For you nerdcore fans out there, MC Chris is coming to The Basement on August 17 for the price of $15, available now.

And for you nu-metal fans, Papa Roach plays the Newport on July 10. Tickets cost $20 advance, $22 day of, and they'll be available starting Saturday at 10.
