Preview: Miranda Lambert at Nationwide Arena

Chris DeVille, Columbus Alive

If you want to get your ass kicked by a country chick, go to a Miranda Lambert concert. So goes the wisdom of my wife, our family's foremost expert on such matters.

Lambert headlines Nationwide Arena (which really needs a breezy nickname like "The Schott") Thursday in support of her fourth album, "Four the Record." As our family's foremost authority in puns, I am amused.

Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann will also appear, as will Lambert's side project Pistol Annies, who'll keep things rollicking lest anyone think Lambert settled down after finding love with fellow country star Blake Shelton.
