Santigold’s sophomore LP “Master of My Make-Believe” is packed with the sort of sleek, metropolitan art-pop that she made her name on. She continues to skitter across a spectrum between M.I.A. and Karen O with mostly magnificent results.

You couldn’t find her a more fitting opener for her Newport appearance than Theophilus London, the style-conscious Brooklyn rapper who mingles with indie-rock elites and tends to rap over aggressive, punk-inspired electronic beats. Imagine Kid Cudi backed by TV on the Radio, and you’ll have a sense of last year’s debut “Timez Are Weird These Days.”
