Back in 2019, Atlanta singer, songwriter and photographer Faye Webster told Alive she tries to make her art "with pride, and shamelessly." Two years later, Webster is back with new music and has stayed true to her word, taking her songs in new directions, including recent single "Cheers."

“This song has always felt like a standout from the record to me. It was the kind of song where you’re like, ‘Oh yeah, this is the one,’” Webster said in a press release of "Cheers." “Right after the first take. It felt different to me, and it made it feel like I was entering a new era and chapter for myself. It’s kind of the outlier on the record but at the same time is still so original and identifying to myself. Also it just makes me feel like a badass for once.”

Part of that badass quality also comes from the video, which features Webster alongside Atlanta "dirt bike scene king" SIG and the Real Bike Life Only riders.

Webster's second album for Secretly Canadian, I Know I’m Funny haha, is out June 25th, and she'll kick off her fall tour in Columbus at A&R Bar on Sept. 7. Watch the video for "Cheers" below.
