On July 23, soul singer Leon Bridges will release Gold-Diggers Sound, the follow-up to 2018's Good Thing. In the leadup to the record, Bridges released a new song, "Motorbike" (not to be confused with the Happy Chichester tune of the same name), with an accompanying video directed by Anderson.Paak.

“The inception of the song started with this Afrobeat-type instrumental that my homeboy Nate Mercerau made,” Bridges said in a press release. “Prior to the session, I was in Puerto Rico for my 30th with some of my best friends, and the energy of that trip totally inspired this song. ‘Motorbike’ is about living in the moment and escaping with someone. It’s the personification of that unspoken chemistry you have with that person.”

The song feels like a laid-back, instant classic, and while the video starts off as a vintage love story, the plot takes some twists toward the end. It's well worth three and a half minutes of your time. Watch below.
