Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer will play Historic Crew Stadium on Aug. 17.

After a spate of spring and early summer in-person festival cancellations (ComFest, Nelsonville), the concert calendar is beginning to pick up steam. Recent CDC guidance that gives more leniency for vaccinated adults, especially in outdoor settings, seems to have emboldened promoters big and small. To wit: Ace of Cups is hosting its first general admission concert on Saturday, June 5, with Nashville indie-rock act Keeps (though still at half capacity and with an indoor mask requirement).

But the big concert news this week is the "Hella Mega Tour" featuring Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Green Day, who will join forces for a rock show at Historic Crew Stadium on Aug. 17. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 21, at 10 a.m.
