After more than a year of canceled music festivals, here's some welcome news: BrewDog's yearly beer, music and food festival, known as Annual General Mayhem, returns on Aug. 28, and it has one of the best fest lineups I've seen in Ohio so far this year, including headliners Superchunk, Dr. Dog and the Get Up Kids.

Even better, there's a killer slate of local acts taking the stage at BrewDog's U.S. headquarters in Canal Winchester (you may also recognize several of these acts as Alive "Bands to Watch" alums): DANA, snarls, Angela Perley, Winston HytwrMukiss, Mungbean and Wasp Factory.

In addition, Annual General Mayhem will feature a boatload of guest breweries: Branch & Bone, Derive, Fat Head's, Jackie O's, Little Fish, Seventh Son, Sonder, Urban Artifact, Wolf's Ridge, Brink, Crown & Hops, Arclight, 18th Street, Dancing Gnome, Pipeworks, Two Tones, Hawkes Cider and NanoDog.

Tickets are available here ($30 for general admission, $15 for BrewDog's "Equity Punks"). For more info on tastings, what to bring (and what not to bring), head to the event page on BrewDog's website.
