"My thoughts, my words, my mouth/I do my best to get it out/And I get it all," sings Stephen Zefpha Pence on "The Tourist," a new single from long-running Columbus indie-rock act She Bears.

To go along with the propulsive and deliciously distorted new song, the band made a video featuring line-drawing animations of various city scenes and lyrical snippets presented in festive flashing lights. Animated skulls pile up during the song's bridge as Pence sings, "I got old and I got mean/I have let my selfishness get the best of me."

"The Tourist" is the fourth single from She Bears' forthcoming album, You Should Get Lost, the follow-up to 2017's Great Lakes Tidal Wave. You can find the rest of the group's recent tunes on Bandcamp

Zefpha Pence formed She Bears in Athens, Ohio, in 2008, at one point expanding the band's lineup to seven musicians, though in recent years the Columbus iteration of the group has featured four locals: Zefpha Pence on vocals and guitar; Alex Douglas on guitar and keyboard; Ryan Franz on bass; and Alex Eiler on drums and vocals.
