After collaborating with the Fray and releasing funny/sad songs about Beanie Babies and K-Fed, Columbus songwriter Sam Craighead is about to issue a new album, OK Computer Room, out Nov. 5 on Head2Wall Records.

Because of Alive's close relationship with Craighead, we have the exclusive premiere of the video for OK Computer Room single "The Toughest Guy," which you can only find on YouTube and one other site where he also premiered the video and also provided some background on the visuals: "I wrote this song after watching the high school MMA fantasy movie 'Never Back Down.' For the video, I hired a young woman in Ukraine to dress up like Clark Gable and ‘do masculine stuff outside.'"

The video is a fitting companion for the lovely indie-pop track, which features a protagonist who attempts to mask his crippling insecurities with ultra-masculine behaviors. "Rather than confront my shit/I’m just gonna sit here and hit this bag/And sorry but I won’t admit/I’m really just angry at my dad," Craighead sings, again tapping the funny/sad vein the songwriter does so well.

Check out the video below, and find pre-sale info and virtual album release details at samcraighead.com, which was seemingly rebuilt after parting ways with former manager Jason Sandalwood, aka Management by Jason.
