Staff pick: Market to Market ride

Put your butt in first gear and earn some Jeni’s ice cream this weekend at the twice-yearly Market to Market ride. Start your journey at either the North Market or the Hills Market, reach a destination, rest, eat and turn around at your leisure. The cost of registration includes breakfast, a T-shirt and a drawstring backpack full of good stuff (including offers for $50 in savings on Ohio foods.) And that promised scoop of ice cream.

Treats and distractions await at both markets, too. The Taste of the Hills delivers as promised with ample samplings of the market’s prepared foods, paired with wine and beer. And Saturday marks the opening day of the North Market’s farmers market.

The journey is just 13 miles each way. You can do it!
