Things We Love: Wholly Craft's map bows

Jackie Mantey, Columbus Alive

The team at Wholly Craft (3169 N. High St.) puts these cute, free little bows made from old atlas maps on gift purchases - which they'll wrap for shoppers in a pink bakery box, also free of charge (hint: Mother's Day is Sunday). The current crafters of the bows are the store's interns, Rebecca Bickel and Kimberly Joya, both of whom required a tutorial of sorts as to why one would need an atlas in one's car. "That made me feel old," said owner Olivera Bratich, adding, though, that "the look of relief in a frantic gift-buyer's eyes makes it totally worthwhile."
