How could we suggest patios for sports fans and not include the place inspired by Ohio State's greatest football legend (of the last 25 years)? Anyway, Eddie George's patio is the prime spot for college students and sports fans alike. Nearly every sporting event can be found on one of the restaurant's many flatscreens. And if you get the right spot outside on a nice day, you'll be able to watch the game on the indoor TVs through the bar's retractable windows.
Coaches Bar & Grill
1480 Bethel Rd., Northwest Side

This huge patio is ideal for the sports fan looking to enjoy the sunshine. The outdoor bar has a couple of TVs that are easily viewable from many of the bar's picnic tables and umbrella-covered seats.
Classics Sports Bar
543 S. High St., Brewery District
614-228-7000
The huge wooden area is mostly covered but has some spots to catch rays, and there are heaters that keep it warm in the winter. The best part is the giant screen on which the bar shows Ohio State and NFL games.
