Design lovers of all mediums would be remiss not to check out the International Interior Design Association's event tonight at Venue at Smith Brothers. Called "Product Runway," it's "Project Runway" for building buffs. Around 12 teams of professionals from across the IIDA's Ohio and Kentucky regions have made runway looks constructed out of products they use in their interior and architectural designs on a regular basis. Examples: Carpeting, vinyl flooring, tiles, wall coverings, upholstery, furnishings, lightbulbs, etc. Imagine, for a minute, what it would take to make a dress that can prance down a runway out of kitchen flooring… Eat your heart out, Tim Gunn. Tickets are $30 at the door. Bonus: Fifty percent of the proceeds from the show will benefit Dress For Success.
